Signs and Behaviors: Witness words every day

You never know what someone might be dealing with or how they might be feeling.

Besides teammates, athletic staff such as coaches and strength coaches spend a minimum of 20 hours a week with their student-athletes.

Mental Disorders: Mental Illness

There is a wide range of conditions that affect mood, thinking, and behavior.

They may be occasional or long-lasting. They can affect your ability to relate to others and function each day.

There is no single cause for mental illness. A number of factors can contribute to risk for mental illness. Mental disorders are not caused by character flaws. They have nothing to do with being lazy or weak.
